A TWO-day weather warning has been issued for heavy rain in parts of West Yorkshire.
The Met Office announced a yellow weather alert for the county and warned there is a small chance heavy rain could cause flooding and disruption throughout today.
The alert covers the edges of Bradford, Wakefield, other parts of Yorkshire and the Humber, including Hull, Sheffield, as well as Nottingham, Peterborough, and Lincoln.
It runs from 8am today until 3am tomorrow.
There is more than a 95 per cent chance of precipitation and heavy rain forecasted throughout most of today for Bradford, according to the Met Office.
The percentage drops to 90 at 9pm and the forecast moves to light rain at 9pm.
There is a second yellow weather warning for heavy rain in the North that covers Manchester, Liverpool, Blackpool, and Burnley, with flooding expected, according to the Met Office.
This alert runs from 12.30am today until 8pm.
