LEEDS Bradford Airport has issued a statement following a disruption to its water supply.

Yesterday the Yeadon-based airport said there was a "temporary disruption to the water supply in the LS19 area".

It meant the food and beverage units at Leeds Bradford had to operate a reduced menu for the majority of Sunday.

The airport apologised for the inconvenience caused.

Retail units and flights were operating as normal.

As of 7pm, normal operations resumed.

A post on the Leeds Bradford X page read: "Water supply update at 7pm on 29.09.2024.

"Normal operations have resumed.

"If you are travelling tomorrow (Monday, September 30) please travel as normal.

"This is our final update. Leeds Bradford Airport."
