TORRENTIAL downpours have hit parts of the Bradford district.
The Met Office put in place a yellow weather warning for heavy rain across West Yorkshire and much of England today.
The alert began right at the start of the day and runs until the end of Thursday.
A more severe amber weather warning has since been announced for a concentrated patch of the country.
This mainly covers the midlands, including places like Birmingham, Peterborough, Leicester, and Northampton.
Rainfall has started to get very heavy in parts of the Bradford district this afternoon, with large pools of water forming at the side of roads in Saltaire.

Cars could be seen making their way through the puddles at the junction of Bingley Road and Saltaire Road, with water spraying either side of the wheels as vehicles were battered by the rain.
A torrent of water was gushing down nearby Moorhead Lane, while discoloured water could be seen seeping out of cracks in the pavement.
