A TOTAL of 23 Bradford pubs have been included in the 2025 Campaign for Real Ale’s (CAMRA) Good Beer Guide.
The guide is celebrating its 52nd edition with not one but two covers featuring two of the UK’s favourite locals: Coronation Street’s Rovers Return Inn and Emmerdale’s Woolpack.
The publication, which lists 4,500 of the best pubs across the UK, is the definitive beer drinker’s guide for those seeking the best pints in the nation's pubs.
Information for the guide is collated by thousands of CAMRA volunteers who select the best of the best across the UK.
Kate Ahern, secretary of the Bradford branch of CAMRA, said: “Bradford CAMRA is always pleased to recognise pubs in our area that members nominate as worthy of entry into the Good Beer Guide.
“A maximum of 20 pubs can be nominated by each member of the branch, to be considered for submission.
“Those nominations are then carefully collated to draw up a final list for submission.
“The maximum number of pubs that the branch can submit however is determined by National CAMRA, this year 23 for Bradford.
“There are of course plenty of other good pubs in our area. Pubs may not make the cut, simply because they weren't nominated or nominated by sufficient members.
“Though it may be disappointing we sincerely hope that they won't be deterred, and there's always next year.”

As well as including 399 of the best pubs in Yorkshire, it includes 79 new pub entries across the county.
CAMRA Chairman Ash Corbett-Collins said: “CAMRA’s mission is to ensure support from the Government as well as tangible legislation to protect pubs in this country.
“By next year’s edition of the guide, we want to be talking about the beer and pub trade growing with the support of communities and parliament alike.”
