A MAN caught driving on the wrong side of the road in Bradford tested positive for cocaine.
Officers from West Yorkshire Police's Shipley Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) were on proactive patrols in the Windhill area last night when they spotted the vehicle.
It was stopped and police tested the driver for drugs in his system.
A spokesperson for the NPT said he "provided a positive indication for cocaine".
The driver was arrested and will be reported for the driving offences, as a result.
The NPT spokesperson said on Wednesday: "Yesterday evening officers from Shipley Neighbourhood Policing Team were on proactive patrols in the Windhill ward when they sighted a vehicle driving on the wrong side of the road.
"The vehicle was stopped and the driver was drugs wiped, the male driver provided a positive indication for cocaine.
"The driver was arrested and will be reported for the driving offences.
"A file will be prepared for court."
