DRIVERS face major delays on the M62 this afternoon due to a vehicle fire.
Lanes one, two and three were closed on the M62 westbound between J27 and J26 near Birstall for recovery and clear up works following a car fire.
Congestion of approximately four miles and delays in excess of 60 minutes remain.

As of 3.15pm, the motorway reopen after the vehicle recovery was complete with the spillage treated.
There is congestion to routes through Birstall, Cleckheaton, and Birkenshaw.
The Telegraph & Argus has approached West Yorkshire Police for a comment.
