AN Audi stolen in a burglary in Ilkley was found on Bradford's largest estate.
Whilst tackling burglary and vehicle crime, West Yorkshire Police officers spotted the black Audi A3 in "suspicious circumstances" on Wenborough Lane in Holme Wood yesterday.
Bradford South officers liaised with colleagues from the north of the city who went to the keeper’s address.
They discovered it had been stolen in a burglary overnight from Ilkley and the occupants were unaware.
The vehicle was recovered for forensics.
In an unrelated incident, later in their shift, West Yorkshire Police officers also stopped another vehicle on Rooley Avenue in Bradford South.
A man was arrested on suspicion of two burglary offences in Cumbria.
Cumbria Police has since taken over the investigation.
