A construction chemical supplier has welcomed a new laboratory-based apprentice.
Bradford's Oscrete has appointed Rennison Forrest-Parkinson as its new materials and testing apprentice.
Although this is the 19-year-old's first full-time role since leaving Guiseley High School, he has a construction background, having shadowed a construction site manager and undertaken work experience at a construction firm.
Mr Forrest-Parkinson said: "Oscrete is a really forward-thinking company which goes even further back in the construction process by creating the chemicals and the products which ensure concrete products are created to the highest quality and strength.
"I'm looking forward to learning a new side of the construction industry, to building new relationships in this sector, and to developing my skills with a Level 3 Materials Technician qualification."
Oscrete manufactures concrete admixtures for the pre-cast and ready-mix market, and develops and supplies additives for the manufacture of dry bagged mortars and adhesives.
