A 'casework clinic' organised by Bradford South MP and deputy speaker of the House of Commons, Judith Cummins, took place last week.
Hosted at the Sutton Centre's Tong Wellbeing Hub, the clinic brought together voluntary and community groups to share expertise and strengthen partnerships.
Addressing the groups, Ms Cummins said: "I know the past few years have been hard for organisations like yourselves as the challenges faced by the people you help have increased.
"But you have fought on, and remain a vital lifeline for so many people, whether that has been through food banks, welfare advice, health and wellbeing activities, or just providing a warm space and a friendly space for a cup of tea and a chat.
"Thank you for all you do."
Kay Wright, Tong Wellbeing Hub lead, added: "In order to best support people in Bradford, the community sector simply cannot work in isolation."
