Emergency services called to scene of serious crash on major road
EMERGENCY services have been at the scene of a serious crash this evening.
It happened on Thornton Road, close to its junction with Leaventhorpe Lane at around 9.40pm.
Police, paramedics, and firefighters attended the incident and a road closure has been in place.
A West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said the crash involved a motorcycle and a car.
They said one male was taken to hospital.
The Telegraph & Argus contacted West Yorkshire Police, but the force was unable to give any details at this time.
