A £1.85 million development in Gilstead Lane, Bingley, is now on the market.

The site includes a 1933, 'Arts & Crafts', stone-built detached house with period features, as well as two building plots with existing planning permission, and a further one-acre paddock.

The existing house, named 'Arden', is a four-bedroom detached property with stone mullion windows and original stone chimney pieces.

It features a reception hall, a drawing room "of wonderful proportions," a dining room, family room, breakfast kitchen, utility room, study room, and cloakroom on the ground floor.

The first floor comprises four bedrooms, including a master bedroom with a potential en-suite.

The one-acre paddock, currently designated as green belt land, could be shared between the two new builds.

The agent also said there is "the potential" to apply for further planning permission for a detached two/three-bedroom gatehouse, to be built where the existing garaging stands; and a triple garage extension with accommodation above the main house "by way of a glazed link."

The properties would be accessible through a new gated entrance on Gilstead Lane.
