POLICE have issued an update on three men arrested in connection with a hit-and-run on a major Bradford road.
A 17-year-old boy who was a pedestrian was left fighting for his life following the collision near the Tesco on Halifax Road, on Monday night.
A cordon was in place on Monday night and for much of Tuesday as police carried out investigation work.
Two 33-year-old men were initially arrested in connection with the incident.
One man was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury through dangerous driving and failing to stop at the scene of a collision and the other man was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
A third man, a 24-year-old, was arrested later on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
All three have now been released on police bail.
This morning, a spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "Three men have been bailed pending further enquiries."
