A BRADFORD gym is currently undergoing a refurbishment to install the "latest state-of-the-art equipment".

It was 2015 when PureGym took over the former Virgin Active site at Gallagher Leisure Park, Thornbury.

Since then, many gym-goers across both Bradford and Leeds have made good use of the facilities on offer.

The upgrades include an extended women's workout space, a new functional area with sled track, a dual studio with new spin bikes, and upgraded free weights area with an eight-bay lifting rig, and a new stretch area.

The works began on September 9 and are expected to last until October 15.
