A DRIVER has been banned after he was caught going almost double the speed limit on the motorway.
Jack Field, of High Street in Dewsbury, appeared at Bradford Magistrates Court earlier this month.
It was here where the 25-year-old admitted to hitting 130mph on the M1 in Wakefield on May 3.
Court documents state Field has been disqualified for holding or obtaining a driving licence for six months.
He was also fined £140, and had to pay courts costs of £110 and a £56 victim surcharge.
Field will pay the £306 total in monthly instalments beginning at the start of next month.
