A MAN is due in court charged with the attempted kidnap of a woman in the Bradford district.
The reported incident is said to have happened on Nab Lane, Shipley, at around 8pm on Thursday, and involved the occupants of a black car and a red car.
Luke Stephenson, 34, of Moorland Terrace, Skipton, was arrested on Friday.
West Yorkshire Police has now confirmed he has been charged with attempt to kidnap/false imprison a person with intent to commit a sexual offence.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates' Court tomorrow.
Around the time of the reported incident, it is understood a taxi drove past, according to West Yorkshire Police.
Detectives are appealing for the driver of the taxi to come forward as he could be a "significant witness".
