POLICE are investigating the theft of a narrowboat in the Bradford district.
The 45ft long Springer narrowboat was stolen from Morton Lane, Keighley, on the afternoon of September 5.
West Yorkshire Police said enquiries were being made after the theft and urged anyone with information to come forward.
It is understood the narrowboat was last seen in the Foulridge in Pendle, Lancashire, close to the border with North Yorkshire.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "Police are investigating a theft of a boat at Morton Lane, Keighley, on September 5 at around 2pm.
"Enquiries are being made, including speaking to the Canal River Trust.
"Anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area is asked to contact police via 101, quoting crime reference 13240484157."
