BRADFORD Council has announced the following new pay and display and permit charges for the district.

* Yellow Line Waivers:

* £15 per day if purchased more than 24 hours in advance.

* £20 per day if purchased within 24 hours of use.

* Residents’ Permits: The charge is £35, no refund available.

* Visitors’ Permits:

* First permit: £35

* Second or subsequent permit (if permitted): £40

* No refund for any visitors’ permit.

* Business Permits:

* General: £80 per annum

* Little Germany: £420 per annum

* Ilkley: £250 per annum

* Refund: One-twelfth of the annual amount paid for each complete unused month, except where the refund would be less than £15.

* Ilkley Workers Contracts: The charge is £250. The refund follows the same policy as business permits.

* Special Parking Permits: The charge is £35 per annum, no refund available.

* Parking Dispensations:

* £35 per annum for a professional health or social carer

* £15 per day if purchased more than 24 hours in advance

* £20 per day if purchased within 24 hours of use for all other users

* £10 per week for a landlord/contractor working in a residential permit area.

To object to the proposed order send grounds for objection in writing to Interim Director of Legal and Governance, Legal and Democratic Services, City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council, City Hall, Bradford BD1 1HY or by email to Objections@bradford.gov.uk to be received no later than 12noon on September 16 quoting reference:- CORP/PCD/JLF/416027.

* Other Bradford Council announcements:

* Otley Road to Commercial Street, Shipley, for gas works. Pedestrian access maintained. Alternative traffic are via Otley Road (unaffected section), Bradford Road, Bingley Road, Bradford Road, Bingley Road, Saltaire Road, Commercial Street and vice versa. The order is in force until 6pm on September 20.

* Wharf Street, Shipley, for gas works. Pedestrian access maintained. Alternative traffic routes are via Wharf Street (unaffected section), Otley Road, Salt Mills Road, Victoria Street and vice versa. The order is in force until 6pm on September 20.
