A NEW store will open inside The Broadway next month, it has been revealed.

Beauty and wellbeing brand Rituals is set to arrive at the Bradford city centre shopping centre on Wednesday, October 23.

Starting out in an Amsterdam basement a quarter of a century ago, Rituals specialises in bringing "quality wellbeing products for bath, body and home".

The retailer has stores in Harrogate, Trinity Leeds, White Rose Shopping Centre, and Designer Outlet York.

The chicken wing restaurant, which also has three eateries in Leeds, will be located near The Light Cinema.

The fast-serve fried chicken chain is positioned as a premium alternative to KFC, and has attracted celebrity fans including the rapper Stormzy.

It will offer a wide variety of wing flavours plus platters, loaded fries and burgers.

General manager Ian Ward teased the prospect of several new retailers before the year is out when Primark opened in The Broadway earlier this week.

On this latest announcement, he said: "Rituals is a brand new retailer for the city of Bradford and we're thrilled that they've chosen The Broadway as their home.

"We're looking forward to them opening in the run up to the busy Christmas season.

"They are also joining us at a great time, just before Bradford becomes the City of Culture in 2025 which will put a spotlight on the city and The Broadway as the leading destination to shop in the city.” 

In celebration of the new store, Rituals will be hosting an opening event on Saturday, October 26.

Complimentary goody bags will be offered to the first 50 customers who make a purchase.

An exclusive offer will also be available on Rituals’ best-selling foaming shower gels, which can be purchased for £7.50 (RRP £9.90).

Additionally, a complimentary mini reed diffuser will be offered to all customers making a purchase of £45 or more.

Rituals say all of the above is subject to availability and while stock lasts.
