THE general manager of The Broadway has teased the prospect of several new retailers coming to the shopping centre in the next couple of months.
It comes after Primark was hailed as the "single biggest opening" since the centre opened almost a decade ago.
From 8am, hundreds queued to gain entry to the new £6 million store on Tuesday.
Ian Ward, general manager of The Broadway, was thrilled by how many people attended the grand opening and teased more retailers coming soon.
"You can't hide away from the fact that Primark brings footfall," he told the Telegraph & Argus.
"There is not one shopping centre in the country that will tell you any different.
"We have got a line-up of another six to seven retailers.
"At the end of this week, we will be announcing a few more that will be fitting out in the next few weeks.
"This next six to eight weeks is going to be like watch this space because we are going to be making announcements.
"The idea is we are leading into the City of Culture and we all need to be ready for it. It now feels like we are going to be ready, from The Broadway's point of view."
The clothing giant, celebrating its 50th anniversary, moved across the city centre from the Kirkgate Centre, where it has stood for 18 years.
All 174 employees, including 13 managers, have transferred across to the new 40,000 sq. ft two-floor store which will offer customers’ favourites across fashion, accessories, beauty, lifestyle, and homeware items.
"It seems as though it has been a long time coming," Mr Ward added.
"From looking around the store and all the people queuing, it takes your breath away to a certain extent.
"I know speaking to the Primark directors on site, they were not expecting all these people. It is pretty impressive."
Next on the agenda for The Broadway is the usually-busy festive period.
This year, a new Christmas decoration scheme will be in place as well as the annual festive launch and hosting of the Telegraph & Argus Retail, Leisure and Hospitality Awards.
And a final message from Mr Ward: "Primark is going to drive footfall.
"We just need to get the Transforming Cities work finished outside and do a little bit of marketing to get people back into Bradford.
"The best message I can say is it is really taking shape."
