Britannia Care
The August bank holiday may have come and gone, and autumn is truly with us, but that doesn’t mean that the holiday mood at Britannia Care has also changed with the seasons.
Regardless of the time of year, activities and excursions remain an important part of the Britannia Care ethos, with staff already looking ahead, planning events and celebrations to coincide with certain calendar highlights, such as Halloween and Diwali, Yom Kippur and Christmas. Maintaining a longstanding tradition of diversity and inclusion.
And there are plenty of autumn excursion, too, with Yorkshire looking at it’s best as the season changes.
Britannia Care has a well-deserved reputation for ensuring that residents get to fully experience activities beyond the care home.
For the care facility’s founder and company director, Mr Choudhry Inayat Khan, embracing the changing seasons makes perfect sense.
“Yorkshire is at its best this time of year,” said Mr Choudhry Inayat Khan, who established Britannia Care over 34 years ago, “so when the sun shines, we think that it is important that our residents have the option to enjoy the great outdoors.
“The local parks come into their own at this time of year with a range of spectacular autumn colours as the foliage turns from green into autumn reds and golds. Both staff and residents appreciate being able to access what we have on our doorstep.”
Britannia Care has built a proud reputation for caring for residents from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds. Britannia Care is a purpose-built care home, designed and fully equipped to look after the needs of the people they care for – corridors and doors are wide, enabling the smooth passage of those who use a wheelchair or other supportive aids. There is lift access to all floors – again, designed to accommodate wheelchairs and supportive aids used by the residents.
The Britannia Care’s multilingual staff have a long history of providing care to the area’s multicultural community, with 34 years of experience, knowledge and understanding in providing expert care to a diverse clientele.
