A NEW £6 million Primark is set to open in Bradford city centre - and the Telegraph & Argus was given an exclusive sneak peek before doors open for the first time.

The clothing giant, celebrating its 50th anniversary, has now completed its move from the Kirkgate Centre, where it has stood for 18 years, to The Broadway.

Queues formed outside the store on Tuesday morning.

All 174 employees, including 13 managers, have transferred across to the new 40,000 sq. ft two-floor store which will offer customers’ favourites across fashion, accessories, beauty, lifestyle, and homeware items.

Customers can also enjoy new features such as LED lighting, updated fixtures and fittings, 16 self-checkouts alongside six serviced tills, and 24 fitting rooms including family and accessible options.
