POLICE are appealing for information after a quad bike was stolen from a market square in a Bradford town.

The quad bike took place outside the Santander bank in Shipley Market Square.

"Between 2.50pm and 3pm on Wednesday, September 4, a yellow and black 16 plate Yamaha quad bike was stolen from outside the Santander bank in Shipley Market Square.

"The quad had been left secured but was found to be missing when the owner returned.

"Local CCTV has been checked but there have been no further sightings of the quad.

"If you see this vehicle please contact police on 101 or westyorkshire.police.uk/contact-us and quote crime reference number 13240483096."

In another vehicle theft incident, a car was reported from stolen in Great Horton in the last few days.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "Sometime on September 5 someone approached two cars parked on the roadside on Southmere Drive, BD7.

"They smashed a window on the first car and reached into the glovebox, taking a set of car keys for the second car. They then drive off in the second car."

Police warned residents to "double check your vehicle is locked and there is nothing valuable left inside".
