WITH Primark set to close in the Kirkgate Centre tomorrow, we thought it would be good to take you around the shopping mall for a video tour.
The clothing giant will close its doors at Kirkgate Shopping Centre at 5.30pm on Monday as it prepares to open in The Broadway at 10am the following day.
The concrete, brutalist building has been an imposing sight in Bradford city centre since the 1970s but is set to be flattened to make way for the new ‘City Village’ – a development of 1,000 homes in the top of town area – in the coming years.
Many shops in the shopping centre have closed in recent years including the likes O2, TJ Hughes, and Argos.
Several stores still remain like The Perfume Shop, Greggs, and Sports Direct.
However with Primark's departure it is thought footfall will further be affected negatively.
