A "VERY large" fire - which is believed to have been started deliberately - has been battled in Bradford.
Firefighters were called to the blaze at Thornton Road Industrial Estate shortly before 11pm yesterday.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service (WYFRS) said: "Initial crews arrived and found a very large refuse fire in the open.
"After initial firefighting actions, crews requested two more fire engines to support with personnel and to assist supplying water."
Crews - from Bradford, Fairweather Green and Shipley stations - extinguished the fire, which mainly involved wood.
The fire was out by around 12.30am and crews remained at the scene damping down until after 1am.
The WYFRS spokesperson said the blaze is believed to have been started deliberately.
