BALES of fabric were ablaze in a West Yorkshire town last night.
Firefighters from Cleckheaton and Dewsbury were called to the incident at Wellington Mills, Liversedge, shortly after 8pm.
Crews extinguished the fire and left the scene shortly before 9.45pm.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service (WYFRS) said: "We were called at 8.04pm last night to reports of a fire in the open at Wellington Mills in Liversedge.
"We sent two crews, Cleckheaton and Dewsbury.
"This was found to be bales of fabric on fire, which crews extinguished using jets.
"All crews had left the scene by 9.38pm."
The WYFRS spokesperson said the blaze is believed to have been started deliberately.
