A POPULAR Bradford city centre store was the victim of a reported burglary last night.
The incident occurred at Waterstones, in The Wool Exchange, overnight.
The store has been open since 1996 and has become the go-to shop for book lovers across the district.
It is famous for its stunning interior and is often heralded as one of the most beautiful bookshops in the country.
West Yorkshire Police is investigating the suspected burglary.
Waterstones Bradford said on X: "Thanks to a burglar last night we have a wooden window."

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "A report was received at 7.52am this morning of a burglary overnight at a business premise on Hustlergate. Bradford.
"Enquiries are ongoing.
"Anyone with any information about this offence is asked to contact police via Live Chat online or by calling 101, quoting crime reference 13240479214."
