BRADFORD parents will be able to get their child's car seat checked for free at upcoming events this month.
They will be held at the Asda car park on Rooley Lane between 11am and 4pm on Friday, and at the Morrisons car park on Bradford Road, Idle, from 11am to 4pm on September 24.
The events will provide free child car seat checks and fitting guidance.
Statistics show that around two-thirds of car seats for children are incorrectly fitted.
That data comes from Good Egg Safety, a community interest company dedicated to keeping young people safe from harm.
The event is being held as part of Vision Zero, which aims to eliminate all deaths and serious injuries on West Yorkshire's roads by 2040.
A key part of the campaign is educating drivers and raising awareness about actions they can take to boost safety.
