UPDATE: Scenes for star-studded horror film to be shot at Richard Dunn's
TRUCKS and workers have been spotted at the former Richard Dunn sports centre site this week.
The centre, located on Rooley Avenue opposite Odsal Stadium, was closed in 2019, and the building was due to be demolished.
But in a surprise twist, the 1970s building was listed by Historic England in 2022 – saving it from demolition and casting doubt on future plans for the site.
When the Telegraph & Argus visited the site on Monday, trucks and other vehicles were seen in the centre's former car park.
A worker was also spotted on a cherry picker making some alterations to the building's structure.
It is understood that preparations for filming were taking place on the overcast day.
The T&A has asked Bradford Council for details of why the vehicles and workers were on the site.
