A VEHICLE fire has been closed the westbound lane of the M62 at Junction 24 this afternoon.
Traffic is queueing back from Junction 24 following a vehicle fire.
A spokesperson for the West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "We got the call at 3.04pm and sent two crews (Cleckheaton and Mirfield) who extinguished the blaze."
A traffic alert reported: "The M62 westbound is closed with queueing traffic due to vehicle fire at Junction 24 A629 (Ainley Top).
The Telegraph & Argus has contacted West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue for more information.
There were no reports of injuries and the cause is unknown."
