SPARTAN Forklifts has joined Toyota Material Handling's national dealer network.

The move will enable the business, based in Cleckheaton, to offer the entire Toyota range of new and used forklifts, genuine parts, and warehouse equipment.

Spartan Forklifts founder and managing director Adam Hughes said: "Becoming part of the Toyota dealer family is very exciting for everyone at Spartan.

"Working with the world's leading forklift truck manufacturer will allow us to upscale our operation significantly and extend our service support to customers that operate some of the UK's largest MHE fleets."

Sam Gray, dealer manager at TMH UK, said: "Toyota has a dedicated, strategically positioned dealer network and we are extremely pleased that Spartan is now part of it.

"Adam and his team have developed an impressive business, and we look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship between our two companies."

Spartan Forklifts will also offer operator training and safety courses.
