A DISQUALIFIED driver was stopped and arrested in a McDonald's drive-thru.
West Yorkshire Police's Calderdale Valleys Neighbourhood Policing Team NPT were out on patrol in Brighouse when one of the officers spotted a vehicle that was being used by someone who was disqualified from driving.
It was then seen again by other officers who were passing through Kirklees.
Police eventually stopped the car in a McDonald's drive-thru, just before the order point.
The driver was arrested on suspicion of various offences and the vehicle was seized.
A spokesperson for Calderdale Valleys NPT said: "Whilst on patrol in Brighouse, PC Burn noted a vehicle passed for observations due to the driver being disqualified.
"The vehicle was sighted by colleagues who were passing through from Kirklees.
"Then whilst guiding traffic colleagues in, the vehicle was stopped in McDonalds drive through, just before the order point.
"The driver was promptly arrested for various offences and the vehicle has been seized."
