LATEST NEWS: Weather warning for thunderstorms extended into Monday
A WARNING has been issued for thunderstorms and a chance of flooding in Bradford.
The Met Office announced a yellow weather warning for the city and surrounding areas at 11.19am this morning.
It covers a band running vertically down the middle of the country and includes places like Oxford, Birmingham, Nottingham, Leeds, and Newcastle.
The alert runs from 4am tomorrow until 9pm.

The Met Office predicts there will be a small chance of flooding and disruption from heavy showers and thunderstorms.
What to expect with the weather warning according to The Met Office
- Spray and sudden flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures
- Where flooding or lightning strikes occur, there is a chance of delays and some cancellations to train and bus services
- There is a slight chance that power cuts could occur and other services to some homes and businesses could be lost
- There is a small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded quickly, with damage to some buildings from floodwater, lightning strikes, hail or strong winds
