Bradford District Credit Union (BDCU) has announced an expanded partnership with Sovereign Health Care to deliver health and financial benefits to Kirklees Council employees.
Benefits will include affordable access to dental, optical and physiotherapy services, plus 24/7 GP consultations and private prescription options.
The partnership expansion adds to benefits already received by NHS staff at Bradford Royal Infirmary, St Luke's Hospital, and Airedale Hospital.
A payroll savings and loan scheme allows staff to save directly from their wages and manage loan repayments easily.
Access to health care cash plans, covering routine health expenses and offering health and lifestyle discounts, is also provided.
Katie Hurrell, CEO of BDCU, said: "Our payroll savings and loans scheme is already empowering over 4,000 staff across 34 organisations, including the NHS and both Bradford and Kirklees Councils.
"By joining forces with payroll partner Sovereign Health Care, we are doubling down on our commitment to support local workers, making it easier for them to save and access crucial health care services during the ongoing cost of living crisis."
Neil McCallum, CEO of Sovereign Health Care, added: "We are excited to deepen our partnership with BDCU, bringing our healthcare cash plans to Kirklees Council employees."
