SEVERAL "big-name" headliners have already signed up to perform a show at an iconic West Yorkshire venue next year, it has been revealed.

Organisers of TK Maxx presents Live at The Piece Hall say plans for 2025 are now well underway as they look to follow up a record-breaking summer of live music at the Halifax open-air courtyard.

This year’s 34-date concert series brought more than 180,000 music fans to town for performances from the likes of Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Blondie, Tom Jones, Korn, Biffy Clyro, Fatboy Slim, and Bryan Adams.

Outside of events in London and the south coast, only Glastonbury and Liverpool’s Anfield stadium welcomed more gig goers to outdoor shows in England between June and August – confirming The Piece Hall as one of the nation’s leading live music venues.

Co-promoters The Piece Hall Trust and Cuffe and Taylor are now hard at work planning for next summer’s eagerly-awaited programme – with some 2025 headline artists set to be revealed very soon.

Nicky Chance-Thompson MBE DL, CEO of The Piece Hall Charitable Trust, said: “It’s hard to find the words to describe Live at The Piece Hall 2024. There have been so many truly iconic moments.

“It’s been our biggest, best and most diverse season to date but the thing that has united the series is the absolute quality of every single performer who has graced our brilliant stage.

He added: “The challenge, of course, now is how do we top this year, but I’m delighted to reveal plans are well underway for 2025 – so watch this space!”

Peter Taylor, co-founder of Cuffe and Taylor, today confirmed a number of big-name headliners have already signed up for 2025.

He said: “Our plans for next year are well underway and we have some amazing artists already lined up. We cannot wait to start announcing next year’s shows very soon.

“It’s been a sensational summer at The Piece Hall – a truly unique and special venue. With attendance figures eclipsing virtually every concert series and major festival in the UK, TK Maxx presents Live at The Piece Hall really has been the place to be.

“From the first show with legends Blondie, back in June, it’s been 34 incredibly special nights. Audiences have loved the shows and artists and their teams have raved about playing here.

“With a rich and diverse programme, The Piece Hall is now widely regarded in the music industry as one of the UK’s best and must-play venues.”
