SIGNAGE for Bradford's new Primark has appeared on the outside of The Broadway as the retailer prepares to open its doors in the shopping centre.

The company will close its shop at the Kirkgate Shopping Centre at 5.30pm on September 9 - with the new store opening at The Broadway at 10am the following day.

A live DJ will celebrate the opening of the shop, which will include adult clothing, kidswear, and home and lifestyle ranges.

Conor Walsh, Primark retail director for the South West and North East, said: "We're thrilled to be making our move across town, placing Primark at the heart of all the action.

"At Primark, we're constantly reviewing our stores to make sure they're up to standard and are the right size and in the right place.

"The new store location will certainly help us to better serve our Bradford customers, and we're so happy that all our colleagues will be joining us in our new location too."

A spokesperson for Primark added: "All 174 store colleagues, including 13 managers, will be making the move over to the new store, where they will continue to offer Primark Bradford customers best-in-class in-store experiences."
