LIAM Gallagher was the star performer on the opening day of a storm-affected Leeds Festival.
Music lovers from across the Bradford district have been heading to Bramhope Park this Bank Holiday Weekend.
Lots were left disappointed when three stages were forced to shut due to the damaging Storm Lillian.
Both the BBC Radio 1 tent and the Aux stage were ruled out of service for the weekend.
This was coupled with the closure of the Chevron stage on Friday before that reopened the day later.
The "devastating" update from the festival's health and safety team meant many performers, including Skrillex and James Marriott, were unable to do so.
It did mean the smaller BBC Introducing... stage gained some much-deserved limelight.
Venus Grrrls in particular shined thanks to a larger audience.
Ultimately it was left to the Main Stage acts to entertain the thousands in attendance, and they certainly delivered.
It was an evening for all to enjoy with London-born hip-hop star 21 Savage performing before rockers Catfish and the Bottlemen and Gallagher.
After a few years away, the Welsh band made their highly anticipated return.
Frontman Van McCann wowed spectators with tunes such as' 'Soundcheck', 'Pacifier', and 'Cocoon'.
The performance gave Indie fans the perfect warm-up to then welcome a Brit-pop icon.
The former Oasis lead singer celebrated the 30th anniversary of iconic debut album Definitely Maybe.
Hits like 'Rock n Roll Star', 'Half The World Away', Cigarettes & Alcohol', 'Supersonic', 'Slide Away', and 'Live Forever' were always going to standout in the set.
However, it was a pleasure to hear niche bangers 'Shakermaker', 'Bring It On Down', and 'Fade Away'.
The crowd definitely appreciated this alternative setlist with them in loud voice for pretty much every song.
Gallagher played to them too.
Shouts of 'Are there any Manchester City fans in the crowd tonight?' and jibes about Wonderwall were made.
Hints of an Oasis reunion have been circulating this weekend and with Gallagher still on top form, who would not want to see him link back up with brother Noel after 15 years away.
