A centenarian has celebrated reaching her 100th birthday with a coffee morning.
Renee West, who lives at Greenbank Court in Baildon, turned 100 last week and celebrated alongside her niece, Sandra Weatherall, and fellow residents.
Ms West was presented with flowers by staff, and she completed her celebrations with a slice of cake and cup of tea.
A birthday card from the King and Queen also arrived to mark the special occasion.
Manager of Greenbank Court retirement scheme, Atis Krumins, said: "Renee is loved by us all and brings a smile to the face of everyone she meets.
"It’s a privilege to have her here at Greenbank Court."
Born in Bishop Auckland, Durham on August 17, 1924, Ms West has moved numerous times around West Yorkshire and regularly attended Caroline Street Club in Saltaire as an adult.
She loves dancing and shares the passion with her sister and niece on a Saturday night.
Ms West said: "I don't feel any different as I can still do things.
"I dance at the club and that's what it is all about."
She also plays bingo and attends coffee mornings arranged by the retirement home.
Ms West relocated to Greenbank Court, part of housing provider Incommunities, in November 2011.
