NORTHERN is offering West Yorkshire students 50% off school run rail tickets for the 2024-25 academic year.
The move is designed to help children under 16, and their parents or guardians, make a switch from road to rail during the school run.
The discount is available until Friday, September 20, through Northern's Under 16 Education Season Ticket scheme.
Students at Bingley Grammar School could travel between Saltaire and Crossflatts for a total of £129 for the entire academic year using the discount.
For Bradford Grammar students, travel between Baildon and Frizinghall comes to £125.
For Ilkley Grammar School students, travel between Baildon and Ilkley would cost £243 with the discount.
Mark Powles, of Northern, said: "As well as providing a significant saving on the cost of the school commute, U16 Education Season Tickets can be used at weekends and bank holidays, too."
