FRIENDS have remembered the “infectious laugh and smile” of a Bradford woman in heartfelt tributes paid to her and her three “beautiful” children who died in a house fire.

Bryonie Gawith, 29, died at the scene of the fire on Westbury Road, in the BD6 area of the city.

Emergency services were called to the scene at around 2am on Wednesday.

Bryonie's three children - nine-year-old Denisty Birtle, five-year-old Oscar Birtle, and 22-month-old Aubree Birtle, were taken to hospital where they all sadly died from their injuries.

A 39-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder and is currently in a critical condition in hospital.

In a book of condolence opened by the Telegraph & Argus, scores of people have paid tribute to Bryonie and her children.

Abigail Brooksbank said: “My beautiful best friend and my beautiful babies how am I going go on without you!

"What about our morning coffees and chin wags I’m going to miss all your smiles and laughter you all brought to me.

"We had so much planned, I will never forget you all love you so much girl. Rest in peace xxx."

This morning, Ms Brooksbank also told the T&A: "Bryonie was my best friend. We met on the school run. Our daughters were the same age.

"We were all so close. All her friends and family are all so sad now. We need to stick together and stay strong."

In the T&A book of condolence, another friend wrote: “Bryonie, I will miss your infectious laugh and smile. I am blessed to have known you and your babies.
