THE Telegraph & Argus is today launching its Best Bakery 2024 competition.

We need your help to crown the winner and T&A readers can now nominate their favourite bakery in the district via an online voting platform.

Online nominations open today – Monday, August 19 – and will close on Sunday, August 25.

The ten finalists will then be revealed on Tuesday, August 27.

Readers will then be able to vote for their ‘Best Bakery 2024’ by picking up copies of the Telegraph & Argus and filling out a voting coupon.

Speaking as the online nominations for the Telegraph & Argus 'Best Bakery 2024’ opened, Nigel Burton, Telegraph & Argus editor said: “The Bradford district is filled with brilliant bakeries.

“From traditional pies, pasties and sausage rolls, to mouthwatering sweet treats and freshly baked loaves of bread, bakers across Bradford always rise to the occasion.”

Mr Burton added: "That’s why we are delighted to launch the search for the Best Bakery so we can recognise and celebrate the fabulous spots across the district.

Bakeries are often at the heart of communities, with recipes passed down through generations of family members.

There’s nothing better than tucking into delicious baked goods - whether it’s the perfect pie with a tasty filling, an expertly crafted pastry, or a mouthwatering brownie – so if you have a go-to bakery that serves up your favourite treat, it’s time to shout up and nominate the one you think should be recognised in our competition.

We can't wait to see all the entries and celebrate some fantastic businesses across the district.
