A FUN day which will raise funds for Marie Curie will be held in Bradford this Sunday.

The fundraising fun day, which is being hosted by Hot Beatz Entertainment, will run from 1pm to midnight at the Field Sports and Social Club, on Chelsea Road in Clayton.

“The aim is to raise money in aid of Marie Curie,” said Michael Williams, one of the organisers.

“The event will provide musical entertainment for the surrounding communities in the Bradford area and beyond.

“We aim to provide live bands, singers (such as Adele Harley)and DJs throughout the course of the day.

“We will provide activities for children such as face painting, glitter painting, and bouncy castle.

“Refreshments will be on sale in the bar area in the venue and food will be available outside.

The event has been fully funded by the Bradford West Indian Community Centre through their Creative Community Partnership grants which were provided by Leap and Arts Council England because the event will showcase a wide range of Bradford's musical talent promoting diversity and community cohesion.
