POLICE have seized two Surron bikes suspected to have been stolen - and arrested one of the riders on suspicion of a drug offence.

Officers from the Bradford South division of West Yorkshire Police said they saw balaclava-clad males on the two bikes on Kesteven Road, Holme Wood.

According to officers, the males ditched the bikes and ran away.

A police spokesperson added: "Not to be deterred, officers chased after the riders and caught one of them."

Police said he was searched and a "large quantity" of suspected Class A drugs were found.

"He was then arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs," said the police spokesperson.

"Both bikes were seized as suspected stolen.

"Enquiries are ongoing into this matter."
