A DRIVER was taken to hospital following a medical emergency on the M62.
Emergency services were called to the scene between Junction 24 and 25 of the M62 after 2pm today.
A spokesperson for Yorkshire Ambulance Service said: "We received a call at 2.15pm on Thursday afternoon to report a car driver experiencing a medical emergency on the M62 close to Hartshead Moor.
"An ambulance, rapid response vehicle, and team leader were dispatched to the scene and one patient was conveyed to Calderdale Royal Hospital."
An earlier traffic alert reported that "all traffic was temporarily held and there was stationary traffic due to medical emergency on the M62 eastbound from Junction 24 A629 (Ainley Top) to Junction 25 A644 Wakefield Road (Brighouse)".
