OFFICERS arrested a man and seized a knife after a chase through a Bradford estate.
West Yorkshire Police's Bradford South Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) said members of the team had an "early morning footchase" through Holme Wood on Friday.
This led to the arrest of a man on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon.
The NPT shared the news on its Facebook page alongside a photo of a blade that looked to have been seized.
Police are continuing to investigate the matter.
A spokesperson for the NPT said: "This is following sustained work by the team in targeting and tackling criminality in the Holme Wood estate.
"The past few weeks have seen arrests for multiple offences of possession with intent to supply class A drugs, multiple robberies, S18 Wounding and more.
