A SUPPLY chain showcase will provide networking opportunities for SMEs in West Yorkshire, in the first event of its kind for the region.
RTC North will lead the Supply Chain Showcase, in collaboration with WYCA and the Mayoral Office, on September 18 at Leeds' Royal Armouries Museum.
The event is the first of a planned series designed to link regional firms with larger enterprises.
Opportunities within advanced manufacturing, energy, digital, travel, and infrastructure will be showcased at September's event.
Future events aim to address other key industries in West Yorkshire like construction, creative/digital, and food and drink.
The event aims to attract businesses eager to raise awareness and display their capabilities, creating opportunities for smaller enterprises to collaborate.
Industry leaders confirmed as speakers for September's event include Lockheed Martin, Adderstone Living, Equinor, LHYFE, CERN, and the Railway Industry Association.
SMEs will have the opportunity to book one-on-one appointments with leading businesses.
The showcase will feature 10 business support groups, providing assistance in areas critical to the growth and development of SMEs in the region.
Sessions addressing topics like zero carbon initiatives and sustainability practices will take place.
Attendees will also be able to hear success stories from fellow West Yorkshire SMEs.
