A housing provider is offering school uniform vouchers to its customers, to help tackle cost of living pressures.
Incommunities customers can obtain vouchers, with no qualifying criteria, following a discussion with the Incommunities Money Matters team.
The Money Matters team is specially trained to offer practical financial advice on issues such as claiming the correct benefits, lowering bills, and accessing food banks.
Over the past 12 months, their work has helped families to save and access benefits worth £419,413.
The school uniform vouchers can be redeemed at Asda, Sainsburys, Matalan, Aldi, and Morrisons.
For branded items, the vouchers can be spent at Whitakers of Shipley.
Incommunities is seeking to involve other school shops across Bradford too.
Money Matters team manager, Emma Warden, said: "We know that this time of year can be a real challenge for our customers who have children.
"Added to existing challenges with the rising cost of living, these families then also have to find the money for school uniform ready for the September term.
"That’s why we’re offering our families vouchers to help cover the cost of school uniform."
The school uniform vouchers will be available for the next 12 months.
