LATEST: Bradford man cries in court as he pleads guilty to violent disorder
A BRADFORD man is among four men to be charged following disorder in Manchester city centre last weekend.
It happened in Piccadilly Gardens on Saturday, Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said.
According to the force, Liam Ryan, 28, of Thirkleby Royd, in the Clayton area of Bradford, and David Green, 41, of Hamilton Street, Stalybridge, have been charged with violent disorder.
Andrew Phillips, 27, of Ripon Crescent, Stretford, and Shaun Holt, 42, of Oak Road, Stockport, have both been charged with violent disorder and assault.
They have all been remanded into custody to appear at Manchester Magistrates' Court later today.
GMP said a 30-year-old man from Stockport was also arrested on suspicion of violent disorder in connection with the disorder.
He remains in police custody.
