Cullingworth Primary School celebrated at the year-end as a teacher marked 30 years of service.

Mrs O'Hare, originally from Keighley, started her teaching career at the school's old site in 1994.

Over three decades, she has educated students from Reception to Year 6 and supported the school as a Special Needs Coordinator and, currently, as the deputy safeguarding lead.

Throughout her career, Mrs O'Hare has supported residential trips, planned school trips, and keenly attended sports competitions.

Noted for her flair in making education engaging, she frequently dresses up in character to make lessons memorable.

As well as teaching, Mrs O'Hare is a valued member of the Parent Teacher Association, and has helped to organise events like the school disco and the annual Rose Queen day.

The teacher scaled new heights in 2023, when she steered the Eco Council to clinch the Eco Schools award.

This year, she organised the first Eco Climate conference at the village hall.

Headteacher Cathy Isaac said: "We are so fortunate that Mrs O’ Hare is part of Team Cullingworth.

"We are truly privileged to have her on our staff team for so many years.

"We have enjoyed celebrating this special milestone with her.”

Cullingworth Primary is part of the Bradford Diocesan Academies Trust.
