POLICE are appealing for witnesses to what is being described as a 'violent assault' in the Yorkshire Dales.
It happened in the area of the path next to the River Ribble near the Memorial Bridge, Settle, at around 7.15pm on Tuesday, July 30.
No more information is being given at this time.
