In a nostalgic reunion, 14 Chinese alumni from the University of Bradford School of Management recently returned to their old stomping grounds.
The Back to Bradford event was held over three days in July, featuring a welcome meal at Bradford’s Great Victoria Hotel, trips to Saltaire and Haworth, and a tour of the university campus.
The former students, some accompanied by family members, revisited Emm Lane campus where their lectures were held, and spoke to current School of Management staff in the Bright building.
Xiang Li, a 2014 International Business and Management graduate, said: "My favourite part was the opportunity to talk to the lecturers, the Deans and even the Vice-Chancellor of the University.
"It has refreshed our memories of our student experiences."
Wenqin Guo, who graduated in Accounting and Finance in 2016, said: "I think it’s a valuable opportunity to be back here, you can’t find this kind of opportunity often."
Rui Jia, who graduated with a degree in Business and Management in 2005, said: "I love this environment and it brings all my memories back."
Ms Jia undertook a Masters in International Business and Management in 2008, and now works as a marketing and administration officer for Bradford University's China office.
